All-Dri™ Moisture Control Cotton Pads are used to aid in
keeping the mouth dry and retracting the cheek away from the gums. The majority
of moisture in the mouth is generated from the glands under the tongue and
these glands are very proficient in releasing saliva. We are pleased to
announce All-Dri™ to control this area of moisture.
Because All-Dri™ is flat, it can comfortably be placed under
the tongue. All-Dri™ will absorb up to 3 times its weight in moisture and will
not stick to tissue. This is a big problem when trying to remove cotton rolls
from the mouth. The mouth has to be flooded with water to get the cotton roll
loose from the tissue. All-Dri™ should go under every tongue that comes into
the office. Regardless of the procedure, All-Dri™ will keep the mouth dry. This
product is especially for Hygienists who do a lot of pit and fissure sealants.
All-Dri™ can be placed between the cheek and gums for
moisture control. All-Dri™ is especially useful when using “Dentipatch”
Transoral Lidocaine System as it will keep the patch from sliding while keeping
the site dry. If additional retraction is required, simply fold All-Dri™ in
half or thirds.
Dentists using Air Abrasion can put moisture on All-Dri™ and
place them near the operating site. This will help absorb some of the excess
powder that is generated.
